It is my pleasure to present our management students (Batch of 2009-2011) who are ready for placement. Som-Lalit Institute of Managment Studies (SLIMS), Ahmedabad, a top flourishing Couldran of excellence in managemnet education, high quality research. Having established its footprint, right from 1996, SLIMS vision is to become one of the top bussiness schools in management education. A motivates us to set the bar even higher. A vision where our offerings are continuously updated in keeping with evercharging global bussiness Environment.

We have focused on designing practice-oriented learning and contemporary industry-focused curriculum, driven by our strong corporate interface-our highly experienced faculty memmbers have incresingly worked on global research problems and have made significant contribution to know-how world-wide. Our bright young students have developed their minds and have embarked upon promising careers in the corporate and in financial services world.

SLIMS, has, from current acadmic year also introduce, as per GTU Syllabus, Banking as a subject, which is being taught by eminent bankers. This would equip our students in marketing of financial products as well as backoffice specialisation including implementation of BASE-II and Corporate Banking. We have also focused on teaching innovative financial and marketing products including, Valuations, Due Diligence etc.

I may also inform that more than 1500 alumni have shaped their carrer paths in the areas of Advertising, Automobiles, communications, counsultansy, Construction, Export, FMCGs, Financial Services, Banks, Goverment Sector, I.T. Sector, Petroleum Sector, Pharmaceuticals, Print/Media, Telecommunication, Textiles, Manufacturing & Service Sector. More than 275 alumni are enhancing career develpment in U.S.A and other countries.
