Som-Lalit Institute of Business Management, under the aegis of the Gujarat University, is committed to provide world class management education and add value to organizations in particular and the society at large by developing outstanding managers who will provide ethical and responsible leadership. The Institute's endeavor is to develop managers with a sense of direction to render distinct service to our economy in the years to come.

Objectives

The world is fast becoming a global village. The technology and emerging social and political congruence has brought people the world over closer with loosening of national boundaries. Global competitiveness is necessary for all enduring organizations in such a dynamic and uncertain world. Unalloyed competitiveness has its own limitations in terms of social equity. In order to counter this paradox, our Institute has the basic objectives of providing a competitive edge with a deep and abiding concern for all the sections of the 
society. It is reflected in specific objectives as under:-

• To provide a broad understanding of the role of business and other economic organizations in the society.
